To entertain, educate or just have a good time with family and friends, the Château Saveilles offers a range of activities (tours, play trails for children and young people, hot-air balloon flights) and is organising events for you in 2024.

Outside the above periods, guided tours can be organised by appointment.
Since 1st July 2024, La Vélidéale, the cyclo-tourism route linking Saint-Nazaire (Loire-Atlantique) to Lac de Vassivière in Creuse and crossing the Charente, has been open. From Chef-Boutonne to Ruffec, this route leaves the Mellois region to join the Charente, using small country roads.
The route passes through the Château de Saveilles in the Charente.

For the sixth time this year, the Chateau Saveilles is opening its doors at dusk as part of the Nuit des Châteaux event on October 19. To mark the occasion, Chateau Saveilles will be offering an original program designed to help visitors discover or rediscover this emblematic monument of the Ruffécois region (north Charente).
Seven centuries of history and architecture (from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance), times of glory and vicissitudes, abandonment and rebirth, famous figures from French history: a timeless experience in a nocturnal atmosphere.
Since 1984, the European Heritage Days have been a major cultural event held on the 3rd weekend in September, demonstrating the public's interest in its history. Every year, 17,000 monuments come
alive thanks to public and private initiatives.
These days are an opportunity to meet the enthusiasts, both volunteers and professionals, who work on a daily basis to recognize, safeguard and showcase our heritage.
The 41st European Heritage Days will take place on September 21st and 22nd, 2024.
The European Heritage Days are coordinated at national level by the Ministry of Culture, and in each region by the Regional Directorates of Cultural Affairs (DRAC).

Un soir d'été à Saveilles - 6th edition
Do you like lyrical art, opera, bel canto?
You do not know what it is, but you are tempted to discover it?
Then come to the château de Saveilles on August 2nd, 2024!
"Un soir d'été à Saveilles" (A summer evening in Saveilles) in partnership with "Opera Clandestin" will give you the opportunity to discover and taste opera singing with the opera "Raconte-moi la
Traviata", adaptation of "la Traviata", work of Guiseppe Verdi.
A performance for young and old (from 6 years old), where the artists are, at the same time, actor, singer and narrator.
Rendez-vous aux jardins is an annual French event organized by the Ministry of Culture and Communication and the Comité des parcs et jardins on the theme of gardens since 2003. It
takes place on the first weekend in June.
The Château Saveilles opens its doors for the occasion, and several guided tours by the owner will enable you to discover the château in its verdant setting.
